In commemoration of International Day of the Girl Child 2025, A Pad for Her is excited to announce its first-ever Creative Writing Competition, a platform created to celebrate and amplify the voices of young girls.
Themed “How Do You Hope to Shape the Future?”, the competition invites girls aged 9 to 16 to express their dreams and visions through poems, essays, or letters to their future selves.
The initiative aims to inspire girls to reflect on their potential, creativity, and role in building a better world. It also aligns with A Pad for Her’s ongoing commitment to empowering girls through education, confidence-building, and storytelling.
The deadline for submissions is October 5th, 2025, and entries can be sent via email to apadforher@gmail.com.
